About this training Learn Usui Reiki I and Karuna Reiki I in a small group setting. Class tuition includes Usui Reiki I & Karuna Reiki I Manuals, attunement, your certificate of completion and refreshments during training. Usui Reiki I - Day 1 This is an introduction to Usui Reiki. Reiki is defined with a discussion about how energy works, Reiki principles, body’s major Chakras, history and evolution, and an attunement. Japanese techniques will be explained in depth, demonstrated and practiced the way they were taught by Usui Sensei. You will learn how to do Self-Reiki by learning hand positions and practicing reiki treatment on others. Karuna Reiki I – Day 2 Karuna Reiki is the energy of compassionate action; compassion combined with wisdom. Karuna Reiki® assists us in healing the qualities that are out of alignment with divine love. It connects us to the higher vibration within and of the world around us. Participants will learn about the history of Karuna Reiki, explore the definition, pronunciation, and purpose of its symbols, and practice drawing each one. They will also experience using the Karuna Reiki symbols through a variety of techniques and gain hands on experience by working with peers to apply the symbols during healing sessions. Class 10: am – 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break and mini breaks, unless noted otherwise.
